Summary of Event: 

Title: Mindfulness Interventions in Occupational Therapy

This presentation combines practice, clinical video, and demonstration to teach occupational therapy mindfulness strategies that promote mental health in youth and adults. Individual, group, and combined treatment will be included. Emphasis will be given to individualizing practices to current occupational therapy clients with varied sensory, attention span, mental health, behavioral, and/or developmental challenges.

1) At the conclusion of this session participants will demonstrate two new occupational therapy practices and describe their use to improve mental health of clients in their current occupational therapy practice.
