AOTA is hosting a series of free virtual CE programs to equip occupational therapy practitioners, educators, and students to navigate through the evolving pandemic. This series is free for AOTA members and non-members. On Tuesday April 14 from 11am – 12:30pm ET we will be hosting a webinar: “State Advocacy Update: Ensuring Access to OT During a Pandemic.” This webinar will discuss advocacy efforts at the state level to ensure occupational therapy practitioners across all settings are able to both provide and be reimbursed for services provided via telehealth during the COVID-19 emergency. Topics include working with state OT boards and the Governor’s office to allow occupational therapy services via telehealth, Medicaid reimbursement for OT services provided via telehealth, and the ability for OTAs to provide services via telehealth.
