Learning Objectives Attendees Should Achieve:

This is a continuation of our discussion on May 18th with the following ongoing objectives

1. Participants will learn about ways to maximize their time related to managing their daily homecare responsibilities.

2. Participants will share their own resources and experiences with their planning their day and tasks in homecare.

3. Community of Practice members will pool their collective knowledge to develop a practical resource for how we can maximize our time and be efficient in planning our daily homecare tasks in order to promote work-life balance

Summary of Event: (500 Character Count Max)

This Home Care Community of Practice will bring together Connecticut home care occupational therapy practitioners to focus on addressing the feelings of isolation we are experiencing, especially in these times of the Covid 19 pandemic.  Using the principles of social learning theory adopted by theorists such as Etienne Wenger, participants will intentionally learn, pool knowledge, and share resources to better our practice. This event is sponsored by Connecticut occupational therapy practitioners. ConnOTA is supporting this event by overseeing the award of CEUs for registered participants.
