Stacey McIvor MS, OTR/L Owner/Founder of RESTORE Mobile Therapy, has been working in skilled nursing facilities, hospital settings, providing home healthcare services, primarily for the senior population, for the past 8 years, serving the greater Danbury area. 

Her passion is working with older adults, helping them to resume activities and become as independent as possible in their daily lives.  A licensed Occupational Therapist, Stacey is committed and passionate about providing her clients with the highest standard of services for their care and safety, enriching their lives while aging in the comfort of their homes and improving their quality of life.

Learning Objectives Attendees Should Achieve:

This hour-long presentation and discussion will allow participants to:

1. Learn…About Trello as an option for developing an OT Home Care Information Clearing House.

2. Share…Resources and being to develop a format for how to organize information, i.e. equipment requisitioning, vendors, Evidence-based practice, assessments, must-haves…

3. Pool…knowledge by developing a preliminary list to be added to the information clearing house.

Summary of Event:

1. Participants will work together to identify and learn about at least one method of storing a conglomerate of information to bring the concept of a Home Care OT Information Clearing House to fruition.
 
2. Participants will begin to share ideas and resources and develop a format for how to best organize the information by identifying priorities based on their experience as home care OTs in Connecticut.

3. Participants will develop a preliminary list that will form the foundation for an information clearing house.

This event is sponsored by Connecticut occupational therapy practitioners. ConnOTA is supporting this event by overseeing the award of CEUs for registered participants.
