Learning Objectives Attendees Should Achieve:

1. Participants will be able to describe the Medicare reimbursement updates that will go into effect for Home Health Agencies on January 1 2023.

2. Participants will be able to explain Medicare home health quality reporting program updates and other home health initiative updates addressed in the Medicare CY 2023 Home Health Final Rule.

Summary of Event:

Review of the CY 2023 Medicare CY 2023 Home Health Final Rule

In the summer of each year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) post to the Federal Register a proposed rule that puts forth Medicare updates and provisions that will become effective in the next calendar year for Home Health Agencies (HHAs) and for the Patient Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) used for reimbursement under the Medicare Home Health benefit.  CMS then considers stakeholder comments and posts a final rule in late October/early November to finalize the updates and provisions.  This presentation will provide a review of the key updates and provisions of the CY 2023 Final Rule and links to related resources.

This event is sponsored by Connecticut occupational therapy practitioners. ConnOTA is supporting this event by overseeing the award of CEUs for registered participants.
