Summary of Event:

Wendy B. Stav, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA is chair and professor of Department of Occupational Sciences and Occupational Therapy at St. Louis University’s. She was the well-received keynote speaker at the Fall ConnOTA conference. I have asked her to share her thoughts on ‘occupation’ and jumpstart ConnOTA’s rebranded Community of Practice (formerly known as Home Care), now Perspectives in Aging. She spoke of so many things the group has brought up in the last year and presented from the heart and from our rich history. Topics we have been struggling with at our jobs and in our practice of occupational therapy were brought forth. She was able to ground and remind me of why I became an occupational therapist working with the older adult population.

This event is sponsored by Connecticut occupational therapy practitioners. ConnOTA is supporting this event by overseeing the award of CEUs for registered participants.
