Important Update: OT/OTA Licensure Fee Legislation Passed!
The Connecticut House and Senate have passed Senate Bill 1246, which proposes eliminating licensure fees for occupational therapists & occupational therapy assistants as part of the Governor’s budget. ConnOTA provided testimony in support of this important legislation to reduce financial barriers for practitioners.
Please note: All OTs & OTAs must still pay their licensure fees for the current renewal cycle. If the Governor signs the bill, the fee removal will take effect starting with the next renewal period.
Stay tuned for further updates.
